Current COVID Safety Practices at Quarry Ridge Animal Hospital - Effective September 21, 2021

—CHECK-IN: Call 203-438-8878 upon arrival to speak with a receptionist (this applies to clients checking in for both doctor and tech appointments as well as those picking up medication and/or food.) Please stay in or near your car and keep your cell phone handy while you wait! NOTE: Our waiting room is open at limited capacity.

—MASKS: All staff and all clients must wear a mask inside the hospital. Staff who meet you outside to consult or place medication and/or food in the designated basket will continue to wear a mask.

—WAITING ROOM: Our waiting room is open at a limited capacity. Please observe our social distancing seating guidelines. All clients must wear a mask while inside the hospital. Currently, the waiting room is open for clients visiting for:

—Doctor appointments
—Morning admits
—Discharges
—Medication or food pick-up

—DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS: After you check in via phone, bring your pet to the front door and a receptionist will buzz you in to the waiting room. Two clients per household are permitted in exam rooms during doctor appointments. If you have more than one child with you, we’ll ask you to wait outside together while we treat your pet. NOTE: Our waiting room is open at limited capacity.

—TECH APPOINTMENTS: After you check in via phone, your tech will meet you in the vestibule at our front door to collect your pet. You’ll wait outside while your pet is treated. Your tech will return your pet to you at your car as soon as their treatment is complete.

—OPTIONS: We continue to offer curbside service for clients who prefer to remain outside.

—PET PORTAL: We have temporarily suspended online appointment booking through Pet Portal. Please call 203-438-8878 to schedule an apointment.
