* * * We continue to offer curbside service to our clients! When you arrive, please call our front desk at 203-438-8878 to check in with a receptionist. All visitors must wear a mask at all times. Clients who are waiting in the parking lot and clients who are entering the building must wear a mask and observe social distancing guidelines. A technician will call or text you when we are ready for your pet’s appointment, so please keep your phone with you while you wait and please be aware that the call/text may not come from our main number. You’ll be asked to meet a staff member at the front door, where they will greet you and escort you and your pet (one family member only) into an exam room. Clients will be asked to wait outside for tech appointments. A tech will bring your pet out to you as soon as their treatment is complete. Clients who are picking up medications, food, or other products should call 203-438-8878. A receptionist will place your product(s) in the basket on the bench on the front sidewalk. Please note that we have temporarily suspended online appointment booking through Pet Portal. We are sorry for any inconvenience! Thank you to all of our patrons for your patience and cooperation while our procedures are different and changing. During this time, we consider it our responsibility to care for your pets as we always have, and to protect our team members and all our clients, as well. * * * |

USDA APHIS Pet Travel Certification
It’s critical that your pet meets these requirements and travels with appropriate documentation. It may take some time and planning for your pet to qualify for travel, so please come see us as soon as possible! We'll help you get your pet ready to travel. The first step is to visit the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) website and determine what your destination country requires. You should also check with your airline or cruiseline, as they may have separate and additional requirements. Factors to consider may include meeting time frames for obtaining a health certificate, updating vaccinations, diagnostic testing, or administering medications or treatments. It’s important to plan ahead! Next, contact Quarry Ridge Animal Hospital—we’ll work with you to schedule any necessary vaccinations, tests, or treatments. Once everything is in order, one of our USDA-Accredited Veterinarians will issue a health certificate for APHIS endorsement. Please note: Our Pet Travel Certification service is offered to established clients only. Bon voyage! |
