We're pleased to announce that we'll start reopening on June 29th! Beginning that day, it will be our procedure to have you call our front desk upon arrival (203-438-8878) to check in. We will phone you when we are ready to have you enter the hospital. Please keep your phone with you.
A staff member will come out to greet you and escort you and your pet (one person per appointment) through the front door and into an exam room. You must wear a mask when you come into the building. Please note that clients may be asked to wait outside during tech appointments.
We'll continue to offer curbside services, as well. Masks and social distancing practices are required at all times.
We really appreciate your patience while our procedures are different and changing. During this time, we consider it our responsibility to care for your pets as we always have, and to protect our team members and all our clients, as well.

USDA APHIS Pet Travel Certification
Whether your pet is traveling within the U.S. or embarking on an international journey, there may be health requirements specified by authorities at their destination.
It’s critical that your pet meets these requirements and travels with appropriate documentation. It may take some time and planning for your pet to qualify for travel, so please come see us as soon as possible! We'll help you get your pet ready to travel.
The first step is to visit the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) website and determine what your destination country requires. You should also check with your airline or cruiseline, as they may have separate and additional requirements.
Factors to consider may include meeting time frames for obtaining a health certificate, updating vaccinations, diagnostic testing, or administering medications or treatments. It’s important to plan ahead!
Next, contact Quarry Ridge Animal Hospital—we’ll work with you to schedule any necessary vaccinations, tests, or treatments. Once everything is in order, one of our USDA-Accredited Veterinarians will issue a health certificate for APHIS endorsement.
